The Institute for Foreign Languages began offering its services to Bucks County residents and its business community in 1990. The Institute is located in the center of Doylestown's historic district, a step away from the Court House, seat of County government.

The County's rich multi-cultural heritage and its sophisticated, increasingly globally-oriented community are a rich source of multi-lingual talent which complements Institute trained, native or fluent foreign language speakers and teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL), translators and interpreters.
